Build a busy Island of Sodor railway with more than 5 metres of track!

For a little Thomas & Friends fan, this big 26-piece track set opens the door to a whole world of Sodor adventures. The familiar blue Number 1 engine is ready to work, and little conductors can help Thomas collect barrels, carry them across the railway and make each important delivery.

Inspired by the 80th anniversary of Thomas & Friends, the Load & Launch Barrel Delivery Set includes a Classic Thomas motorised engine, cargo car, four barrels and more than 5 metres of track. With an engine shed, turntable, bridge, tunnel, delivery warehouse and track diverters to explore, there is always somewhere for Thomas to go and another railway job waiting to be done.

Flip the switch on top of Thomas and watch him set off under his own power. He travels through the tunnel and over the bridge before stopping at the warehouse, where little hands can load a barrel into his cargo car. Send him onwards to the depot and the barrel automatically launches onto the roof, ringing the bell to announce another successful delivery!

Once the job is complete, the turntable helps point Thomas in the right direction for his return journey. Children can use the track diverters to choose his route, load another barrel and enjoy the delivery adventure again and again. The repeated loading, launching and directing action helps develop fine motor skills while encouraging imaginative storytelling and confidence through play.

The spacious engine shed can house up to three engines, making this set a wonderful foundation for an ever-growing Thomas & Friends collection. Additional compatible motorised engines and track can be added over time, each sold separately, filling your child’s railway with even more familiar friends and new Sodor stories.

Designed for preschool children aged 3 years and over, this large track set offers plenty of room for independent play or railway adventures shared with parents, grandparents and friends. Thomas requires 2 AAA alkaline batteries, which are not included. Toys101 sells suitable AAA batteries separately, so he can be ready for his first barrel delivery as soon as the railway is built.
