Making Roads Smooth, One Pass at a Time!
The road crew is hard at work! The dump trucks have delivered the gravel, the graders have levelled it, and now it's time for one of the most important machines on the site to get moving. Slowly rolling backwards and forwards, the road roller presses and compacts the surface, making sure it's firm and ready for the next stage of construction.
The SIKU 0895 Road Roller is a compact die-cast model inspired by the rollers seen on roadworks projects throughout New Zealand. Whether it's preparing a new motorway, resurfacing a country road, or building a driveway in your toy town, this little machine is always busy getting the job done.
Built from durable die-cast metal with plastic components, this brightly coloured yellow compactor is tough enough for enthusiastic play while still making an attractive addition to any construction vehicle collection. Its compact size makes it easy to carry in a pocket, while the realistic detailing captures the appearance of the full-sized machines working on real construction sites every day.

About the Real Vehicle
Road rollers, also known as compactors, are essential machines used in road construction and civil engineering projects. Their heavy drums compact soil, gravel, and asphalt, creating a stable surface before roads are sealed or paved.
Although they are not fast machines, their enormous weight and powerful vibration systems allow them to compact thousands of tonnes of material, creating the strong foundations needed for modern roads and highways.
