Character Packs – Series 4 are designed to bring a sense of surprise, variety, and playful discovery to the LEGO Super Mario world, perfect for kids aged 5–6. Each mystery pack introduces one new character, encouraging curiosity and repeat play while keeping the experience light, simple, and fun for younger builders.
Opening a blind pack is part of the excitement, but the play experience stays calm and approachable. Kids can easily add their new character into an existing course, experimenting with how each one interacts and contributes to the story they are creating.
There are 10 LEGO Super Mario characters to collect in Series 4: Mechakoopa, Para-Biddybud, Stingby, Bully, Freezie, Ant Trooper, Goombrat, Coin Coffer, Scaredy Rat, and a baby penguin. Each pack includes one buildable character with an Action Tag, plus a small build that can be used as a display stand or to enhance a level. All characters are designed to be used with a LEGO Super Mario Starter Course for interactive play.
A LEGO Super Mario Starter Course (71360 or 71387) is required to unlock interactive digital reactions. Simple building instructions are included in each pack and also available on the LEGO Super Mario app, making it easy for kids and grown-ups to build together and enjoy collecting over time.
