The Boomer Bill Barrage Expansion Set is made for kids who enjoy a bit more speed, timing, and trial-and-error play. Aimed at ages 7–8, this set turns a LEGO Super Mario course into an exciting skill challenge where quick reactions and smart movement matter. It’s a great way to build confidence as kids test different approaches and try to beat their own scores.
Designed to plug straight into an existing LEGO Super Mario world, this set encourages independent play as well as friendly competition. Kids can adjust the difficulty, experiment with routes, and replay the challenge again and again, making it ideal for growing builders who enjoy mastering new mechanics.
The centrepiece is a spinning platform with two difficulty options, plus two ‘flying’ Boomer Bills that create a moving obstacle LEGO Mario or LEGO Luigi must navigate. An enemy Shy Guy adds extra interaction, while the Super Mushroom power-up introduces variety to each run. Every element focuses on cause-and-effect learning and problem-solving rather than pure speed.
A LEGO Super Mario Starter Course (71360 or 71387) is required for interactive play. The free LEGO Super Mario app provides clear digital building instructions, creative ideas, and inspiration to help kids rebuild and redesign the challenge as their skills grow.
