LEGO DUPLO 10443 First Time At The Airport

A gentle first journey through the airport, from packing a suitcase to taking off

In our modern world, flying is part of life for many young children. Nana and Poppa might live in another city, cousins may be across the Tasman, or a family holiday might begin with an exciting trip to the airport. LEGO® DUPLO® First Time at the Airport 10443 helps toddlers explore this unfamiliar experience through calm, reassuring and imaginative play.

Airports can bring big feelings for little travellers. There is excitement as the aeroplane prepares to take off, uncertainty in a busy terminal, sadness when it is time to say goodbye and enormous happiness when someone special arrives home. The included emotions wheel gives parents and grandparents a gentle way to talk about these feelings, helping toddlers understand what might happen before their own journey begins.

This 23-piece LEGO® DUPLO® airport set includes a movable aeroplane with a removable roof, plus child, pilot and teddy bear figures. Toddlers can pack the hinged suitcase, place it through the security scanner, push it down the luggage chute and pretend to guide flights from the air traffic control tower. The aeroplane has room for the characters inside, ready for take-off and a new family adventure.

Designed for children aged 2 and over, the chunky DUPLO® pieces are easy for little hands to hold, position and rebuild. Each stage of the journey supports fine motor skills, logical thinking, confidence and storytelling, while shared play helps families prepare for real travel experiences together. Whether the trip ends with an exciting holiday or a warm hug from waiting grandparents, LEGO® DUPLO® First Time at the Airport 10443 turns every journey into a story.
