Worthy of the Name — Enzo Ferrari
Naming a car after the founder of Ferrari created an extraordinary weight of expectation. This could not merely be another fast road car. It had to represent everything the company had learned through decades of racing, engineering, and building some of the world’s most desirable machines. The Enzo delivered. Following the legendary F40 and F50, it brought Ferrari’s early-2000s Formula 1 expertise onto the road through carbon-fibre construction, active aerodynamics, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a magnificent naturally aspirated V12. Dramatic, uncompromising, and unmistakably special, the Enzo became Ferrari’s halo car for a new century.

A Ferrari Worthy of Enzo’s Name
The F40 had celebrated Ferrari’s fortieth anniversary with turbocharged aggression, while the F50 brought a Formula 1-derived V12 engine to the road. The Enzo inherited the reputation of both cars while introducing a new generation of technology developed during one of Ferrari’s most successful periods in Formula 1.
Its sharp nose, deep air channels, sculpted bodywork, and compact active rear spoiler were shaped by aerodynamic requirements rather than a desire to follow conventional supercar styling. Inside, the driver sat within a carbon-fibre structure surrounded by controls designed to create a more direct connection between person and machine.
Ferrari originally planned just 399 road-going examples, offered by invitation to established customers. Naming such an exclusive flagship after company founder Enzo Ferrari made the intention clear: this was to be the ultimate expression of the Prancing Horse at the beginning of the twenty-first century.
Why Collectors Will Love It
The Enzo’s dramatic shape translates beautifully into approximately 1:64 scale. Its pointed nose, open aerodynamic channels, low cockpit, broad rear bodywork, and distinctive wheel design make it instantly recognisable, even among Ferrari’s long line of extraordinary halo cars.
Metal/Metal construction and Real Riders rubber tyres give this Boulevard release the substantial feel expected from Hot Wheels Premium, while detailed lights, trim, wheels, and body features reward a closer look. Numbered Boulevard packaging completes a model with enormous appeal for Ferrari enthusiasts, supercar collectors, and anyone who remembers when the Enzo first redefined what a road-going Ferrari could be.
