Start your engines, because Diesel is racing for the Living Room Trophy!

Diesel has added bright yellow racing stripes to his familiar black paintwork, and he is feeling faster than ever! Inspired by the Thomas & Friends movie Race for the Sodor Cup, this special motorised train set brings the excitement of race day home for little Thomas fans.

Diesel is determined to prove that he is the real Number One Engine. Coupled behind him is a bright red car carrying the blue Sodor Cup trophy, followed by a yellow cargo car filled with colourful waving flags. Flip the switch on top of Diesel and watch him set off under his own power, ready to race for railway glory.

Of course, the Sodor Cup could easily become the Living Room Trophy! Little conductors can create a course around the floor, line up their favourite Thomas & Friends engines and discover which familiar friend can complete the fastest lap. Will Diesel take home the trophy, or will Thomas, Percy, Kana or another engine beat him to it?

The plastic connectors allow children to attach Diesel’s race-day cars to compatible Thomas & Friends engines, vehicles, cargo cars and tenders, each sold separately. Diesel can run freely around the room or race along compatible Thomas & Friends plastic track, excluding wooden track systems.

Designed for preschool children aged 3 years and over, this colourful racing set encourages imaginative storytelling, friendly competition and enjoyable repeat play. Diesel requires 2 AAA alkaline batteries, which are not included. Toys101 sells suitable AAA batteries separately, so the race for the Living Room Trophy can begin as soon as Diesel arrives.
