The Hypercar Benchmark
Unveiled in 2016 as the successor to the Veyron, the Bugatti Chiron was engineered to dominate every measurable performance metric. Its quad-turbo W16 engine produces 1,500 PS, launching the Chiron from 0–100 km/h in under 2.5 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 420 km/h.
To manage this performance, Bugatti equipped the Chiron with a carbon-fibre monocoque as rigid as an LMP1 race car, active aerodynamics with an air-brake rear wing, and an extraordinary cooling system featuring ten radiators and airflow measured in tens of thousands of litres per minute.
Limited to just 500 examples worldwide, the Chiron wasn’t designed to be practical, affordable, or subtle. It was designed to be the best.
